Kata’ib Sayyid al Shuhada (KSS) is an Iraqi militia that has fought in both Iraq and Syria and is closely connected to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Houthis.
April 25, 2023: KSS spokesman Kadhim al-Fartousi tells the Al-Araby Al-Jadeed website KSS is prepared to expel the United States from Iraq if it refuses to withdraw. The group was founded in 2013.
