Career Opportunities

The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) offers unique career opportunities for individuals at all levels. Those interested in pursuing a career with CEP are welcome to inquire or submit a cover letter, CV, and three writing samples at employment@counterextremism.com.

Internship Program

CEP’s internship program offers outstanding volunteer opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested international relations, foreign policy, or related fields.

Volunteer interns are recruited year-round on a semester basis to work in CEP’s New York City offices. Primary duties include research, editing, writing, and administrative support. These internships are filled on a rolling basis and are unpaid.

Those interested in the internship program should submit a cover letter, CV, and writing sample to employment@counterextremism.com.

Fact:

On January 23, 2019, two car bombs exploded outside of a mosque in Benghazi, Libya, killing 41 people and injuring 80 others. No group claimed responsibility for the blast, but remnants suggested an ISIS affiliate was responsible.
