(New York, NY) -- The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) released new resources on extremism and counter-extremism efforts around the world, expanding to 55 the number of countries profiled in its interactive map.  

New countries profiled include Angola, Argentina, Equatorial Guinea, The Gambia, India, Ireland, Pakistan, Russia, and Tanzania. Each country report contains descriptions of extremist and terrorist group activities, counter-extremism initiatives, radicalization issues, and the incidence of foreign fighters.

These new country resources, which complement CEP’s Terrorists and Extremists Database and reports on Extremist Groups, are part of CEP’s commitment to improve the understanding of the complex, global, and urgent challenge of combating extremism.
