CEP Condemns Bomb Attack on Russian Metro

(New York, NY) – The Counter Extremism Project released the following statement today in response to an explosion that killed at least 10 people on the Russian Metro:

"The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) strongly condemns today's terrorist attack carried out on the St. Petersburg Metro that claimed the lives of at least 10 people and wounded many more. Extremists routinely target public transportation for their horrific acts of terror. We must continue to be diligent and relentless in our fight to confront radicalization in order to ultimately root out extremism and terrorism. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.”
